CPB helps autistic boys with occupational therapy

Ms. Saparbekova A. is a young single mother. She and her autistic son, Bayhan, had to flee Kyrgyzstan under really bad conditions. Bayhan A. (2014) is almost non-verbal and has had to endure some changes recently. After being granted subsidiary protection, his mother had to find an apartment on the open market. She was only able to afford a small 2-room apartment with mold. They had to live there for 6 months without a kitchen. Due to a new work situation, Bayhan had to change schools. To make matters worse, the basic services made a mistake and did not deregister Ms. Saparbekova A. when she attended a course at the AMS. As a result, she has to pay back over € 1,200, which she manages to pay in monthly installments with her work as a commercial employee. Unfortunately, she is no longer able to pay for the occupational therapy her son urgently needs. This is currently the only real constant in Bayhan's life and helps him a lot. Occupational therapy with Julia Blechert (Entwicklungsraum) has also taken a lot of pressure off family life. Mrs. Saparbekova A. would like nothing more than for Bayhan to be able to attend 10 hours of occupational therapy again. However, she cannot afford the € 900 for this on her own.

Thanks to the financial support from "CPB hilft", this boy can receive the therapy that is so important for him and his mother!
