All functional areas of the core banking system are integrated into the software: Deposit and lending business, accounting and balance sheet, payment transactions for domestic and foreign customers, flexible master data management and much more. The graphical user interface in Windows Explorer style enables clear and simple handling. All core functions, especially products and processes, can be individually designed and parameterized as required.
The application is fully multi-language and multi-currency capable, available 24/7 and supports seamless real-time processing of all business transactions.

In addition to the wide range of technical features, EFDIS.CIFRA offers various cross-sectional functions that contribute to the optimization of daily processes. Good work results not only increase employee satisfaction, but also customer satisfaction.

Task management

Various workflow design features are available to the user. The integrated task management enables clear and seamless processing of daily business processes. Status checks are included, as are automated resubmissions and notes. If required, status-dependent events control the subsequent process steps without the processor having to intervene. An integrated messaging system is used to transmit information and distribute tasks.

Reports

EFDIS.CIFRA offers a fully integrated report generator that can be used to create all types of output: Lists, evaluations, extracts, dynamic texts, letters etc. Various interface formats (e.g. Excel) are supported. Layouts and formats can be customized. Reports can be requested ad-hoc or "subscribed to" on a regular basis. The connection of printing lines and lettershops is provided as standard.

Customer explorer

The customer explorer in EFDIS.CIFRA offers a complete overview of all customer-related information in a Windows look and feel. It is easy to use and supports customer contact processes as well as back-office activities. Entries and queries are easy to make. The menu can be customized for user (groups) as required.

The sophisticated application module enables the fully automated processing of business processes during the acquisition or business preparation phase.

E-file

EFDIS.CIFRA has an electronic client file that can be configured individually for each client. All external correspondence and documents generated by the system are stored in the e-file. The user has a complete view of all documents at all times. The e-file is integrated into the automated system workflows and is part of an integrated document management system.

Document management

The document management system (DMS) in EFDIS.CIFRA is fully integrated into the processes. Correspondence generated both externally and internally is routed to the correct storage location in the e-file via automatic register assignment. The archive has an indexing system that can be parameterized accordingly. It is controlled via barcodes with OMR functionality. The DMS manages overlays as well as pagination and duplex printing with blank pages.

EFDIS.CIFRA is a comprehensive core banking solution for the German market, covering all business areas on both the asset and liability sides. Many cross-functional features, such as an electronic archive and an internal task and workflow system, support back-office banking processes—automated where possible, and manual where necessary or preferred.

EFDIS.CIFRA excels in payment processing and comes standard with its own VOP module and connectivity to the German Bundesbank, the European Central Bank, and the SWIFT network. Connecting to correspondent banks is also no problem.

EFDIS.CIFRA is operated in CPB’s own private cloud. This is convenient for our clients and ensures effective service delivery for CPB. Under the full-service model, it is also possible to outsource individual business processes or the entire business process to CPB.

Both the operation of the system in CPB’s own private cloud and CPB’s in-house further development of the software components consistently meet all regulatory requirements, particularly those of the current EU regulation “DORA.”
