CPB SOFTWARE AG has acquired EFDIS AG, based in Freising near Munich, and will be able to offer an even more comprehensive and targeted range of services and solutions in the DACH region.
Similar to CPB, EFDIS was founded more than 25 years ago as a spin-off of a private bank and has since been a successful owner-managed company, mainly dedicated to the development of banking software and the support of banks, including a range of back office services.
In future, a total of 330 employees at locations in Vienna, Miltenberg and Freising will jointly serve almost 650 customers and further expand the offering for banks. Together, they will generate a turnover of over € 50 million in 2024.
The merger takes place from a position of strength for both companies - the combined potential of versatile expertise and many years of experience will contribute to even greater quality, performance and security for the future in the interests of our customers. Some of the EFDIS shareholders will remain associated with the new, merged company at shareholder level through a partial exchange of shares.
