Even though 2026 is already well underway, there is one review that is particularly close to our hearts: At the turn of the year, we at CPB made a conscious decision not to give traditional customer gifts. Instead, under the motto "Sharing responsibility," we are supporting three organizations that provide daily assistance where it is most urgently needed.
Social commitment is firmly anchored in our corporate culture. We are delighted to be able to support the work of these three projects, which help people in different stages of life:
1. Better quality of life for young and old alike
The "Young & Old"initiative addresses the issue of social isolation in old age. With their empathetic group activities, they give older people with a wide variety of illnesses valuable moments of community and actively promote quality of life.
A ward manager sums it up: "Group activities are a great asset to our residential area and take a huge load off our shoulders in our everyday ward routine."
2. Support in difficult times: Miltenberg outpatient hospice service for children and young people
The staff at the Miltenberg Outpatient Children's and Youth Hospice Service (part of the German Children's Hospice Association) do impressive work. Since 2016, they have been supporting families with seriously ill children—in everyday life, at home, and during the most difficult phases of life. As much of this work is funded by donations, it was a matter close to our hearts to provide financial support for this tireless commitment.
3. A place of warmth: Freisinger Wärmestube
Our third donation went to Wärmestube Freising e.V. In difficult situations, Wärmestube offers much more than just a roof over your head: in addition to warm meals, those in need can find shower and laundry facilities as well as a safe place to stay. An indispensable contribution to social cohesion.
