The CPB locations in Germany and Austria have supported social projects in schools.
In Vienna, the "Bewegte Pause" (Moving Breaks) project was funded, which actively changes the way breaks are organized at schools. The aim is to make pupils healthier, more focused and more balanced through exercise, rest breaks and relaxation. With financial support, play equipment and materials were purchased for the school playgrounds.
In Germany, the French language was taught in a fun way in the district of Miltenberg. Eleventh-graders from a grammar school organized interactive project days at several elementary school, where interested fourth-graders explored French terms, games and regional studies in a varied way. The culinary highlight was crêpes, which the pupils prepared together. The project participants expressed their sincere thanks to CPB for the financial support that made the project possible.
Such initiatives show how important and effective playful learning and exercise are in everyday school life. We are delighted to contribute to a lively and healthy school day and to support the talents of tomorrow today!
