CPB supports the Open4Data challenge5. July 2016
How does the proverbial needle in the haystack become the crucial fragment of information that can, most importantly, be found when it is really needed? Open data, the analysis of data published by companies, public authorities or organisations, is all about the creative discussion of such questions. Visualisation concepts, filtering options, or connections between originally separated data sets yields new perspectives – this is how data becomes information.
As part of an initiative created by the Austrian Federal Chancellery, it was possible to submit innovative, useful, and user-friendly contributions based on open data (OD) to the open4data challenge 2016 until spring 2016. The categories were ideas, datasets, and solutions.
CPB acted as a challenge partner in this competition and Reto Pazderka was able to award a prize in the “Datasets” category in person together with State Secretary Muna Duzdar.
